Jeff Rogers offers in-depth Artist Management and consultation services that tackles the full spectrum of an artist’s journey - including strategic branding, contract negotiations and career planning. His proven track record of turning an artistic vision into tangible outcomes makes him a go-to resource for anyone seeking a seasoned music industry professional who knows how to blend creative flair with business savvy.
Jeff has successfully represented artists (including Crash Test Dummies, Randy Bachman, Kovacs and The Pursuit of Happiness) for almost 40 years. Over the decades, he has provided stellar counsel and innovative career strategies for a diverse range of musicians, music producers, and creative professionals.
Here is just one example of Jeff’s forward thinking; Jeff worked with award winning multimedia artist John Oswald in the 90’s, when John had a piece of audio art, an album called “Grayfolded”, which exclusively used re-embellished samples of The Grateful Dead as instruments for the composition. Jeff helped John sell the album directly to fans on the internet in 1994 (one year before the launch of Amazon) and promoted it on The Well(a bulletin board popular with fans of the Dead). With innovative marketing, and creating the novel idea of selling music via the internet, the project grossed over a million dollars.
In the early 2000s, Jeff joined Richard Branson’s V2 Records in New York, where he worked alongside celebrated artists such as Underworld, Stereophonics, The Black Crowes, Grandaddy, and Moby. His production work on Moby’s PlaytheDVD earned him a Grammy nomination in 2002—an achievement underscoring his forward-thinking approach and ability to maximize an artist’s potential. Upon returning to Canada, Jeff focused on film production and continued to maintain a foothold in music. He has since expanded his business scope to include consulting venues on live music programming and working with music technology companies.
Today, Jeff manages a roster that includes notable names like Christopher Ward, Stephen Stohn, and producer Scotty Hard, reinforcing his commitment to cultivating outstanding talent. He is also part of an innovative team at Gojitech Systems and an early investor in several tech companies.
