Leah Kolb, a prominent curator, currently leads Shore Art Advisory (SAA), where she has been instrumental since March 2022. In her role, Leah oversees a dedicated team focusing on contemporary art, artists, arts advocacy, strategic planning, curation, cultural exchange, and arts philanthropy on a global scale. Notable clients under Leah's curation at SAA include the Emerson Collective, the Fredriksen Family Collection (in partnership with the New National Museum of Norway), The Obama Foundation/Obama Presidential Center, and the Hall Group.
Prior to her current position, Leah served as the Curator of Exhibitions at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art for nearly five years, from June 2017 to March 2022. During this period, she played a pivotal role in shaping the museum's exhibition narrative and contributing to the vibrant art scene in Madison, Wisconsin. Leah's tenure at the museum began as the Associate Curator, where she demonstrated her curatorial expertise and passion for the arts from September 2011 to June 2017.
In addition to her curatorial responsibilities, Leah has been actively involved in promoting accessibility in the arts as the Accessibility Committee Chair at the Wisconsin Arts Board since May 2020. The Board, governed by a fifteen-member body, benefits from Leah's dedication to fostering arts, humanities, and public service. With over a decade of experience in curatorial roles and a commitment to arts advocacy, Leah Kolb continues to leave an indelible mark on the cultural landscape.
