Mary Rozell is a distinguished figure in the intersection of art and law, currently serving as the Global Head of UBS Art Collection and Managing Director at UBS since September 2015. With over eight years of experience in this role, she has played a pivotal role in shaping and managing one of the most renowned corporate art collections globally. Mary is also an accomplished author, having written "The Art Collector’s Handbook," showcasing her expertise and insight into the intricacies of art collection management. Prior to her role at UBS, Mary Rozell served as the Director of Art Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art in New York for over five years, contributing to the education and development of professionals in the art industry. With a background as an art lawyer and an MA in modern art, Mary has been an advisor to collectors, institutions, and estates on all legal and strategic matters related to the acquisition, management, and disposition of private art collections. Her extensive experience includes serving as the Director of Art Collection and Cultural Affairs at the Ross Collection and Family Foundation from September 2001 to April 2004, further solidifying her reputation as a leading expert in the field.
