David Gryn is a seasoned art professional with a rich background in curating and promoting artists' films. Currently serving as the Director of Daata, a groundbreaking online platform for the sale of artist-commissioned video, sound, and web art editions, he has been instrumental in shaping the platform since its launch in May 2015. Under his leadership, Daata has become a pioneering space, introducing audiences to a diverse array of digital artworks.
Gryn's journey with Daata began with the launch of Daata Editions, where he successfully brought together artists to create unique video, sound, and web art editions. The platform, which debuted in May, 2015, has continued to thrive, commissioning over 100 artists, showcasing the works of renowned artists such as Petra Cortright, Tracey Emin, Rashaad Newsome, Jacolby Satterwhite, Matt Copson, Jeremy Couillard, Rachel Rossin and many more. Daata's Season One, launched at NADA New York in 2015, marked a significant milestone, further solidifying Daata's presence in the art world, followed by great projects released at art fairs around the world: Frieze, Art Basel, Art Rio, Art Cologne, EXPO CHICAGO, Photofairs Shanghai, Art Fair Philipinnes, Art LA Contemporary ... and many more
