About me

Barbara Wagner Communications (BWC) is a woman-owned strategic public relations and communications firm that I founded in February of 2021 after 18 years as a publicist. Our work spans the worlds of real estate, culture, lifestyle and media., working closely with clients to ensure they get the full value of our firm's expertise. I also feel strongly that my work be fun and challenging.

Present clients include Steiner Studios, the largest film and television studio east of Hollywood; ShowingTime, a division of Zillow; Fetner Properties; Charney Companies; Tavros Holdings; Hopeful (a project by artist Charlie Hewitt); CoreBarreFit; New Heights NYC; GPARENCY; Village Preservation; the OMG Art Faire, artist Jim Watt and art consultants Emily Santangelo and Janis Gardner Cecil.

Past clients include Toll Brothers City Living, the Empire State Building, the New York Botanical Garden, Douglas Elliman, Equity Residential, Cushman & Wakefield , Marlborough Gallery, the New York Public Library, the High Line and the Indianapolis Museum of Art, among others.

My background includes a six-year stint at Cosmopolitan Magazine, where I was the Assistant Managing Editor, a career as a freelance magazine writer and a manager of a law firm. My work as a publicist is a culmination of all I have learned throughout my working life!
